Legal ID Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to advancing safe, skilled, and purpose driven migration in Pakistan, with a strong focus on the rule of law and the protection of the dignity and rights of potential migrants. We work at the intersection of legal assistance, policy advocacy, and research to highlight structural gaps in migration governance and to promote sustainable, ethical, and human centred migration frameworks.

Our institutional capacity is reflected in our ability to:

• Prevent irregular migration and exploitation through community based awareness campaigns, information sessions, and legal consultations aimed at reducing risks associated with human trafficking and migrant smuggling.
• Promote legal and safe migration pathways by advocating for accessible, transparent, and regulated channels of overseas employment and international mobility.
• Strengthen human capital by facilitating vocational trainings, legal literacy programmes, and capacity-building workshops to enhance migrants’ employability, protection, and social integration.
• Generate policy-relevant research on migration and the rule of law, contributing evidence-based analysis to inform national discourse, institutional reform, and rights-based policymaking.
• Engage in multi-stakeholder collaboration with civil society, government institutions, international organisations, and academic partners to strengthen migration governance and consolidate the rule of law in Pakistan
